National Guard Training Program

 


Learning Communications, an industry leader in training, is pleased to present the National Guard Training Program incorporating the latest directives and revisions from NGB. These courses meet all the training requirements for newly appointed supervisors as well as for the continuing education of supervisors required every three years. Our staff will work with you to customize the presentations in order to accommodate your schedules, staffing and other needs. The programs are designed to be instructive, stimulating and interactive so that participants obtain all the necessary information while maintaining a high level of interest.

MANDATORY TRAINING COURSES OFFERED

 
Three-day Technician Personnel Management Basic Course for Supervisors $6000,
includes travel and expenses
 


This basic four-day course consists of 20 human resource modules and is a mandatory requirement upon initial appointment for every supervisor and manager. The course curriculum includes:

Two-day $4,600/One-day $3,500, includes travel and expenses

 


This three-day refresher course consists of 15 human resource modules and is a mandatory requirement every three years after supervisors and managers have graduated from the basic course. The course curriculum includes:

Two-day Customized Personnel Management Course for Supervisors $4,600,
includes travel and expenses

 


This two-day course consists of either selected modules from the four-day basic course or any other topics requested by the HRO Human Resources Development Specialist. Dr. Michael Harris, Director of Education for Learning Communications will work with the HRO staff to create and deliver this specialized training. The customized curriculum can draw from the following sample topics:
